The Paradox Party.

When the mind starts to lose its iron dominance, you get to see and care about many things in a completely new way.

Take paradoxes, for example.

Mostly scorned by the intellect (which is only interested in black or white), now you get to see them in a different light.

You get them.

You GET them.

You are the universe AND a tiny, vulnerable human being.

Everything I write about has already been covered somehow, AND it’s also completely fresh.

Stuff happens by itself, AND we get to do things all the time.

It doesn’t really matter what you do AND it does.

Humans are essentially an illusion, AND we fully exist.

And even the things you’ve done a million times before, are never exactly the same, so there is AND there isn’t repetition.

Pfff.

All these contradictory things are tough for the logical mind, but much appreciated by a more fluid appreciation of life.

Because you start to see that even logic consists of made-up foundations, that we need constructs we believe in, in order to create new constructs that make sense.

Even ‘facts’ require a belief in something.

For me, most of the fun of spirituality or waking up has been in the position we take up when everything starts to become possible.

I am not completely lost in my human experience anymore, AND I’m also not a non-engaged and supremely detached spiritual being.

Floating somewhere in the middle (which doesn’t exist AND is totally there) means all the richness and confusion that is out there, while getting to deeply realize the absolute grounding and unchanging nature of the Self.

It changes all the time AND it’s always exactly the same.

Confused much?
