Being anchored in awareness.

That’s pretty cool.

And helpful.

And trustworthy.

And life-changing.

But… can we ever NOT be anchored in awareness?

Well, good question.

And the answer is probably ‘uh, no’.

Probably.

Not really, at least.

We’re never not the Whole pretending to be just a tiny, anxious splinter.

But it can certainly feel like we’re not anchored.

We can feel all over the place, scattered, fragmented, vulnerable.

We can be lost in fierce mental weather, facing storm after storm.

For sure.

And yet…

Being anchored in awareness makes it easier.

It’s a feeling, or a sensation, or, I don’t really know what it is.

Maybe a feeling you know on a most fundamental level.

Not an intellectual phenomenon.

And not one of those temporary things, like emotions.

It’s about being naturally unfazed and disconcerted.

Being deeply okay, not as a personal or human form of agreement with something, but as a simple fact.

Being anchored in awareness is a fact you can feel.

Stuff blows over way easier.

Things don’t stick as much.

You get to float a bit, and float some more.

It’s very light, but also really solid.

I don’t know what it is.

But what I DO know:

It is.
