Today I am incredibly atmospheric.
Not sure if that’s a real thing, but it feels that way.
I already consider myself extremely sensitive to sounds and smells and sights, which send me all over my life and over the world in a nanosecond, but today it’s even worse.
Maybe this is a normal human thing, but I actually doubt it.
At least in these quantities, this extreme impact.
Or is this something you recognize?
You hear an old Italian song that you don’t even know and it catapults you straight to a nostalgic place in Venice that you have never visited.
And for a couple of seconds, you are totally there.
Absolutely absorbed in the experience.
Lost in time and place.
Or you smell some spicy food in the street that sends you to a coastal town in Africa, just like that, for just a little while.
This day, this weird day is absolutely packed with these sense-induced, glorious mindfucks.
I heard a pigeon and I was six years old again, back at the farmhouse where I used to spend my summers.
It happened with the familiar deodorant a stranger was wearing in a shop, a horse I saw, and the sun that was shining on a bridge over a canal.
Situations that sparked rich sensations and fantasies.
They’re not just cool and detailed memories: they’re 360-experiences, full-on certified Being There With My Heart And Soul-happenings.
It’s incredible.
Totally immersive.
Complete with deep emotions, and even tears.
Nothing big had to happen for these rich experiences to arise.
I traveled the world, fell in love, enjoyed the beach, sat on a terrace, and nothing really changed.
What is that?
What are we?
Just imagine the absolute power of this fabulous creation.
Senses that are triggered from within.
BOOM!
Who are we?
