It is hard.

It is hard to understand.

It is really hard to understand that every choice we will ever make is built on stuff we didn’t choose before.

Choices are illusory.

We don’t control them.

They are simply the result of many things that happened before.

And before before.

But it doesn’t ultimately matter.

Let’s not strangle life to death, philosophically.

What matters is that it FEELS like you make decisions.

What matters is having the experience that your actions and your passions make a difference.

That how you do it makes a difference.

And even if you don’t control the outcome, or control anything at all, you can still play the game.

The game of choice.

The game of growth, and change, and expansion.

The game of light and dark.

The game of being a human in an endless universe.

Because what matters is that you find whatever bit of freedom you can, and use it.

Even if it’s not really you who is doing it.

Life is not a dream if you decide to live it, fully.

Awake.

So what do you choose?
