Pick up the fear and move on.

Almost every time I feel anxious.

Or nervous.

Or wary.

Or restless.

I move on.

I just start doing the thing that seems to make me

Anxious.

Nervous.

Wary.

Or restless.

Not because I have to CRUSH MY FEAR!!!

Or DENY MY WEAKNESS!!

But mostly out of curiosity.

Because I can.

It’s just really empowering to take whatever it is you are feeling shitty and restricted and challenged about, and move on.

Now I’m not claiming it’s better than not moving on.

It’s just different.

There’s a time for reflection and respect and even wallowing.

And there are many times where you just want to experiment with shit.

At least I do.

And it’s turned out pretty useful.

It means I get stuck less.

I don’t stop and back out as much.

I hardly get lost in distress anymore.

And whatever it is I feel, I’ve learned to pick it up and take it with me, even if it’s shaking and screaming and shivering and howling inside.

It’s not about doing the best thing.

It’s about having more options.
