What if we actually could love more?

Can we love life exactly as it is?

Completely, fully, aaaaall the way?

This is both a philosophical question and an opportunity to practically explore.

Because not loving life the way it is seems logical.

There’s a lot we don’t appreciate about how stuff works.

Many things need improvement.

There’s a lot that’s wrong, unfair, unbalanced, fucked up.

Why would we ever love THAT?

Wouldn’t that mean that we actually agree with whatever is wrong?

How do we change things from there?

Where’s the compassion in that?!

Wouldn’t people take advantage of us?

You see, the question of loving life fully brings up a lot of fierce resistance and harsh judgment.

Loving life fully, embracing life without holding back, seems to be the easy way out.

Naive.

Unrealistic.

Egotistical, even.

But what if it’s not?

What if loving EVERYTHING is actually the only thing the world really needs?

What if we could drop the cynicism?

How would it change your life?

What if you’d be able to drop the idea that fighting life is unavoidable and necessary?

It seems to me that loving everything exactly as it is would open up a whole new world of creative possibilities, beyond resistance and force and aggression and opposition.

I guess.

It’s not that I know how to do it, but I definitely like the idea.

I’m not saying it’s simple, and you don’t have to agree.

For me, it feels exciting and liberating, expansive and rich.

Without all the objections, it simply feels really good.

Maybe I’ll just follow that.
