Maybe you’re reading this while thinking:
Fuck, fuck, fuck, where do I go from here?
What’s the next step?
How do I get out of this?
What should I say right now?
How do I deal with this?
Where did it go wrong, and why didn’t I DO something?
What if it stays like this?
How much more can I handle?
What did I do wrong to deserve this?
Should I stay, or leave?
I am out of ideas, now what?
And maybe you feel stuck.
Paralyzed.
Devastated.
Exhausted.
Or simply utterly out of control.
I know, I know.
But let me remind you of all the other times,
the times before now, where you felt the same,
thought the same,
feared the same,
was caught up in the same,
and life changed anyway.
Stuff happened.
Shifted.
Because that’s life.
If you don’t know what to do right now, then you don’t know.
Until you do.
Until life itself comes up with a solution, a change, a flash of insight, a new situation, FOR you.
Like always.
Like always.
And in the meantime:
can you just be here, with whatever unfolds?
Having the experience you are having?
Feeling stuck, feeling lost, feeling whatever it is you feel?
And keep it that simple?
It’s the recognition, the knowing, that life will go on,
around you, through you, as you, for you, in spite of this moment,
with over a billion years of experience in problem-solving.
What if it’s really not up to you?
How does THAT feel?
