In a world of infinite creation, it can be hard to acknowledge our unique strengths.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are capable of creating worlds, and that’s a miracle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s a divine talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But it\u2019s not our superpower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our superpower is not love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Love is easy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s not compassion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s not forgiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s not beauty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And it’s not connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our true superpower is our ability to be with the unwanted stuff, the dark stuff, the hidden stuff, day after day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sadness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The grief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The addiction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The loneliness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our superpower is our capacity to hold that excruciating pain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To be with literally everything we create, so we can learn to thrive no matter what.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I know it sounds scary and uncomfortable (because it is), but it’s the only way to be truly free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
