This post is about you.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But for the sake of context, there\u2019ll be some personal sharing first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You see, I\u2019ve been a coach for about 8 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And I was an alcoholic for 25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These two things are deeply connected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whatever I learned while living the secret life of a high-performing drunk, and whatever I took from the hard years after I quit, is reflected in my current job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just like my years of serious depression, spiraling anxiety that lasted a decade, and the long road back toward the light are part of my professional being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do all of these things really matter?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Isn’t coaching mostly about modalities, methods, and mindset?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don’t see it that way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, living through challenges doesn\u2019t necessarily, automatically make you a good coach, but it can definitely add a lot of value to your offerings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don\u2019t coach from books and training alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don\u2019t just teach theory and scientific findings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I use both the pain and the triumph of life to get people where they love to be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I use the resourcefulness I had to tap into while overcoming many destructive habits, to light the fire within my clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am a living example of how things can be turned around, no matter how impossible they seem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And I proudly assist in the recreation of lives, just like I recreated mine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the past years, I\u2019ve come to appreciate the infinite strength people have and the amazing sensitivity and appreciation we can develop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve experienced what it means when people come from hate and fall back in love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you’ve lived through a lot of shit and came out scarred but strong, you bring something to the table that is priceless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And that thing is what can make the difference when you want to learn how to build a life that is beautiful, rich, and fulfilling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So that\u2019s me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But of course, as I said, it\u2019s really all about you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s about your anxiety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your impostor syndrome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your sleepless nights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your endless worrying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You lack of connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your wildest dreams and secret plans that are slowly fading away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your tendency to numb out, and your fear of emotions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your loneliness, your anger, and your longing for some peace of mind and a fair amount of love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s ALL about you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And my coaching, my life, is in service of that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
