{"id":48163,"date":"2022-12-22T19:09:10","date_gmt":"2022-12-22T19:09:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/?p=48163"},"modified":"2022-12-22T19:09:22","modified_gmt":"2022-12-22T19:09:22","slug":"maybe-this-is-what-you-need","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/2022\/12\/22\/maybe-this-is-what-you-need\/","title":{"rendered":"Maybe this is what you need."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Today I talked to a really sweet and awesome person.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There was no agenda, just a willingness to connect and share and become friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I told her that after 7 or 8 years of coaching (and decades of brutal living), I still don\u2019t know what it is that I do, and it actually gets worse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I couldn\u2019t pitch my offerings if you put a gun to my head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What I \u2018sell\u2019 always seems to change, and instead of more clear and more outlined, more niched, and even more neatly categorized, it becomes more abstract and unfathomable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sometimes that feels like a very bad thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Like I have an obligation to be absolutely crystal clear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Like people only want to have a B for their huge uncertain A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Like I need to have all the answers, and a heavy responsibility to pull them out of my high hat all the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But I don\u2019t have them, piled up in a shiny toolbox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The answers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The B\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The next steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018I don\u2019t really know anything\u2019, I confessed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There was a moment of silence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018Well, maybe that\u2019s what a lot of people actually need\u2019, she replied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018No cookie-cutter solutions, no glorified answers, no strategies \u2018backed up by the latest science\u2019, just an exploration, an engaging and rich conversation with a person who is really fucking good at not knowing.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And I guess she was onto something.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So Here I am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Master of Nothing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Are you up for it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"mailto:marnix@woedend.nl\">Mail me<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Photo by @kellysikkema, for Unsplash)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today I talked to a really sweet and awesome person.
