You don\u2019t have to choose.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s alright if you do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But you don\u2019t have to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You don\u2019t need to hold on to one view, one modality, one way of appreciating life and the many hardships along the line, and stick to it forever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I totally see that for some people I might have changed my mind completely about what it means to live fully, just like that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From nondual stuff (we\u2019re just Oneness playing a game and we don\u2019t really exist and Consciousness is all there is) to more physical or psychological stuff, more human stuff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To \u2018Nothing\u2019s ever really wrong\u2019 to \u2018Nothing\u2019s ever really wrong but it can totally feel that way and that is just as valid and it sucks\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s not about camps and islands and schools of thought though.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At least: it doesn\u2019t have to be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can believe whatever you want and whatever suits you at the moment, and you can change that too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can try to transcend the ego, or spend some quality time with your inner child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can smile when you don\u2019t feel like smiling, and you can cry when you don\u2019t feel like living.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have seen too many modalities come and go to try and grab one and hold on to it until eternity, even though that does feel safe and comforting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I just know there\u2019s no way to understand any of this, to travel to the furthest edges of life and then settle back into perfection, forever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Feeling lost is part of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Feeling superior is part of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wearing a spiritual or radically rational mask is part of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being stubborn or holier than thou is part of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And changing your mind is part of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don\u2019t make life more complicated by not accepting anything that\u2019s not what you believe in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or do it anyway, as much as you want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And I will probably do it again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I will, whether there\u2019s really a me, or whether it\u2019s all nothing but a magical illusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We tend to think in stages, in levels, and that\u2019s soothing and it provides us with a direction and a sense of growth and improvement and logic and specialness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We like to turn around and look at the road we\u2019ve traveled, the obstacles we\u2019ve climbed, and the piles of old skin we\u2019ve shed along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018Look, I made all of this up, and I survived, isn\u2019t that amazing?\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And it is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Until you hate it for a while and it feels incredibly useless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still, you don\u2019t HAVE to choose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You don\u2019t have to pick a side and defend it against all the other sides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You don\u2019t need to convince other people that you REALLY know what this is all about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But you can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So what?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n
