{"id":48037,"date":"2022-10-08T08:59:02","date_gmt":"2022-10-08T08:59:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/?p=48037"},"modified":"2022-10-08T09:03:27","modified_gmt":"2022-10-08T09:03:27","slug":"will-we-ever-get-it","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/2022\/10\/08\/will-we-ever-get-it\/","title":{"rendered":"Will we ever get it?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>So here&#8217;s how it goes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You get something that you really wanted, and it\u2019s amazing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You get something you\u2019ve been thinking about forever, finally, and it totally stinks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You get something you never wanted, and it\u2019s wonderful, actually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You get something you didn\u2019t want, ever, and it turns out to be at least as fucked up as you imagined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You get something you\u2019ve never thought about, and it\u2019s, hm, okay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You get something you wanted for a long, long time, it feels amazing, and then it doesn\u2019t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You get something and then you lose it and it feels like shit and after that, you forget about it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Or you get something you\u2019ve never thought about, and it\u2019s horrible before it becomes a pivotal thing that changes everything for the best.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do you see the pattern?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yeah?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There IS no pattern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s utterly random.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But something about all of this is very, VERY clear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have no fucking clue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No clue about where things will take us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No clue about what will make us grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No clue about what something means, or doesn\u2019t mean, in the grand scheme of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No clue about what we need, when we need it, and why we need it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have no clue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We absolutely don\u2019t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But please, keep on worrying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maybe this time you\u2019re right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Photo by @jakenackos, for Unsplash)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So here&#8217;s how it goes.
