{"id":48022,"date":"2022-10-06T12:46:07","date_gmt":"2022-10-06T12:46:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/?p=48022"},"modified":"2022-10-06T12:46:24","modified_gmt":"2022-10-06T12:46:24","slug":"a-happy-infection","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/2022\/10\/06\/a-happy-infection\/","title":{"rendered":"A happy infection."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Can you teach a person how to be happy?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I don\u2019t know for sure, but I don\u2019t think so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At least it doesn\u2019t seem like the right word or activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But there\u2019s something that has become very clear to me:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can be with a person and let them feel it by bringing it to the table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Show it, expose it, and be the shining example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can be happy with them, and they can pick up the vibe because we\u2019re inherently created for that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s in us, and it can&#8217;t be removed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Making it happen is like telling a really, REALLY good joke to a person who\u2019s convinced they\u2019ve lost their sense of humor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All they need is one liberating laugh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ha!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It will instantly show them that their capacity to enjoy a funny thing was never lost, that THEY were never lost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They will remember, they will know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not because you promise them it will happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not because you tell them to keep working on it with clever techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not because science tells us we can do it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You simply assisted them in having the experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And that\u2019s more than enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Photo by @marchuri, for Unsplash)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Can you teach a person how to be happy?
