{"id":48003,"date":"2022-10-02T14:57:37","date_gmt":"2022-10-02T14:57:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/?p=48003"},"modified":"2022-10-02T14:57:44","modified_gmt":"2022-10-02T14:57:44","slug":"thinking-about-you-all-the-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/2022\/10\/02\/thinking-about-you-all-the-time\/","title":{"rendered":"Thinking about you all the time."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>So\u2026 here\u2019s a confession.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I think about you all the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There you have it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I do!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maybe that comes as a surprise, but it\u2019s absolutely true.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You\u2019re on my mind, every single day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Often multiple times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This morning you were, while I was drinking coffee in bed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After that, you were during my workout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And when I took a shower, when the lifting and grunting and sweating were done, there you were again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You see, I have this obsession with making life as simple and straightforward as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And part of that ongoing quest (that I was sent on by life itself, obviously), is receiving an endless amount of insights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Helpful, enlightening, and relaxing stuff, mostly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s where you come in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every single time I receive something that feels uplifting and inspirational, something that might take some of the confusion and tension away, I want to share it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a way that might speak to you and touch you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because that\u2019s the other part of the quest: I can\u2019t keep all these things to myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If it wasn\u2019t for that particular piece of the deal, I might have been living in the countryside in France, looking at the sky all day long, not giving a shit about anybody else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Petting my old German shepherd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tending the brussels sprouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Scratching my balls now and then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All without writing or talking about it all the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But that&#8217;s not the deal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The deal is that you are part of my thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And I am part of yours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019re connected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every single day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now you know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(Photo by @robbie36, for Unsplash)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So\u2026 here\u2019s a confession.
