So I was writing a quite hefty piece on my fascination for fasting and its psychological inclinations.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And then I just stopped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today is not the day for explaining stuff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At least that\u2019s how it feels (and I tend to listen to that).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The world is already full of explanations and reversed engineering and second-hand lessons and attempts at chopping up the unchoppable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In most cases, all that stuff is actually really unhelpful, and it makes us feel even more miserable and incompetent than we felt before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who cares?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today feels like sending you inspiration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It feels like pulling you out of your head, and pushing you straight into your heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No more intellect, at least for a bit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We don\u2019t need facts and figures, for fuck’s sake, we need love, connection, and beauty!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What we need is to feel, feel more, and follow those feelings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We need awe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m tired of explaining shit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tired of adding to the already gigantic pile of logical, sensible crap that’s out there, growing every second.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But I\u2019m never, ever tired of inspiring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because whenever I go there and do that and share that, the reward is there instantly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For me too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don\u2019t need to believe in anything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don\u2019t need to work hard to get it done, somewhere in time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don\u2019t even have to think, at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And you don’t have to, either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s the most delicious thing, this vivid arising of words, like busy insects working a glorious meadow in early June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today is not for lists and formulas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s not for making sense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s about feeling more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n
