{"id":47710,"date":"2022-08-16T13:08:31","date_gmt":"2022-08-16T13:08:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/?p=47710"},"modified":"2022-08-16T13:08:43","modified_gmt":"2022-08-16T13:08:43","slug":"feeling-solid","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/2022\/08\/16\/feeling-solid\/","title":{"rendered":"Feeling solid."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Being anchored in awareness.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s pretty cool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And helpful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And trustworthy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And life-changing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But\u2026 can we ever NOT be anchored in awareness?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Well, good question.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And the answer is probably \u2018uh, no\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Probably.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not really, at least.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re never not the Whole pretending to be just a tiny, anxious splinter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But it can certainly feel like we\u2019re not anchored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We can feel all over the place, scattered, fragmented, vulnerable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We can be lost in fierce mental weather, facing storm after storm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For sure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And yet\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Being anchored in awareness makes it easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s a feeling, or a sensation, or, I don\u2019t really know what it is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maybe a feeling you know on a most fundamental level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not an intellectual phenomenon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And not one of those temporary things, like emotions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s about being naturally unfazed and disconcerted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Being deeply okay, not as a personal or human form of agreement with something, but as a simple fact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Being anchored in awareness is a fact you can feel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stuff blows over way easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Things don\u2019t stick as much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You get to float a bit, and float some more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s very light, but also really solid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I don\u2019t know what it is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But what I DO know:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Photo by @polarmermaid, for Unsplash)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Being anchored in awareness.
