\u2018Why don\u2019t we all know this!\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018Why don\u2019t they teach this at school!\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or \u2018How come people never talk about this?!\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These are a few of the answers you get when people drop into a lighter way of living, without trying harder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When they find peace of mind in a place that was always really close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And when they consciously feel something they\u2019ve never consciously felt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I used to have different answers to those questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like: it\u2019s important for the economy, the intellect simply has a hold over us, or people are just fucking ignorant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But this morning, when a client shared the surprisingly cool experience they were having and asked why that\u2019s not common knowledge, I said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because that\u2019s how life works, and keeps working.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uhu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But of course I didn\u2019t leave it at that, and I rambled on for ten more minutes after the initial response.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I spoke about the importance of feeling like we\u2019re looking for something.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the magic and weirdness of finding what was never lost in the first place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the diversity in ideas and opinions and dreams and plans we can all entertain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the endless subtleties in feelings and emotions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And I also mentioned the infinite ways we\u2019ve come up with to explain life and make it a bit more bearable and controllable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All the illusions, all the stories, and all the different elements, come from our capacity to create and believe and feel that vibrant mix from moment to moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to make it REALLY work and to keep us going, we need to be able to feel deeply inspired, and it doesn\u2019t matter if the inspiration comes from the inner urge to reconnect to our true nature, but we use it to become filthy rich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This profound sense of looking for something, of missing an important bit, is such a powerful force behind life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And so versatile in its applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It helps us to create and appreciate beautiful things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It motivates us to go to war (which might not be a brilliant thing, per se, but at least makes for great variety).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It allows us to feel in love with, whatever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It fuels the search for power, peace of mind, success, company, and growth, to name a few fundamental things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides, if we didn\u2019t have the ability to feel as lost as many of us feel, we\u2019d never get inspired enough to go looking for a way out -or a way in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And, of course, finding it wouldn\u2019t taste as sweet as it tastes right now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most of us don\u2019t know what\u2019s going on behind the scenes (well, probably all of us), but that\u2019s not a flaw in the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It speaks of its perfection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who could have made up the phenomenon where what we desperately look for is using our eyes to try and find it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It seems that discovering all those things is way more adventurous and amazing than knowing them from the start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n
