{"id":47226,"date":"2022-06-28T14:08:21","date_gmt":"2022-06-28T14:08:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/?p=47226"},"modified":"2022-06-28T14:10:10","modified_gmt":"2022-06-28T14:10:10","slug":"free-from-the-person","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/2022\/06\/28\/free-from-the-person\/","title":{"rendered":"Free FROM the person."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>I know this is probably going to sound like word juggling.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And therefore there\u2019s a fair chance it doesn\u2019t mean anything to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sorry if that\u2019s the case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can go now and eat some cheese, a sandwich, or a piece of melon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Or French fries (I LOOOOOOVE fries).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Or maybe nothing, because maybe you\u2019re intermittent fasting right now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Like me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you study enlightenment, when you read up about it, you always find that the sages and the teachers and the gurus say that it\u2019s not for the person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">People don\u2019t get enlightened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enlightenment is already there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Huh?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Well, that\u2019s what they say.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You\u2019re becoming free FROM the person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not AS the person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8230;&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">FROM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not AS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8230;&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8230;&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hahaha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And you know what?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s true.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Really!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Does that mean anything?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Well, not for the person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But the experience OF the person gets a lot less constricted, tight, and anxious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Less personal, less serious, less narrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Is that good?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes, that&#8217;s really good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Time to go and eat something.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(Photo by @mitchel3uo, for Unsplash)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I know this is probably going to sound like word juggling.
