This morning I woke up really angry.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I felt furious and frustrated and wound up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And nothing had actually happened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I didn\u2019t fight all night long, I wasn\u2019t in a situation where people challenged me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were no personal attacks, and there was no blaming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No real interactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was angry because of a dream that I couldn\u2019t remember 20 seconds after opening my eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My body was angry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My mind was fucked up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I got up and cursed for no reason, hated my neighbors for working in their garden on Sunday, shouted at my male cat for asking me for breakfast, and when I looked in the bathroom mirror, I saw the face of an angry person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The anger was real.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sensation was 100% convincing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yet nothing happened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was just lost in my mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You see, we talk about \u2018daydreaming\u2019 like that\u2019s a thing we do apart from and besides living.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But we don\u2019t realize that we\u2019re ALWAYS daydreaming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re dreaming our way through life, from moment to moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s all mentally produced and created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re lost in thought almost as soon as we open our eyes in the morning, and far into our sleep that night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whatever we believe is happening to us: that\u2019s dreaming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not the kind we do when we\u2019re in bed with our eyes closed at night, but also EXACTLY that kind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have you ever felt almost sick about something you would have to do the following week?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have you been lost in sadness when you had the thought that life would never be any better than this?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have you been elated on your birthday, when you recognized the present right through the wrapping paper?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have you been worried about a person because they didn\u2019t respond to your texts, without even knowing why there was no communication?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have you been excited about an upcoming vacation?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Did you ever feel amazing and unstoppable when you were in love and the object of your desire smiled at you\u2026 in your mind?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have you been frustrated because of something that happened in traffic?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Did you ever feel, well, did you ever feel, and believe, and have human experiences?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s all dreaming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s all being lost in the story our mind is telling us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And we feel that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It really feels real.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just like the dreams we have at night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our minds make it feel that way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every day, all day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n
