Sometimes it looks as if everybody has a better, more interesting life than you.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You watch people passing by and it\u2019s totally obvious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The old guy with the sunglasses who\u2019s in no hurry seems wise and content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The couple on the motorcycle are deeply in love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two women laughing out loud are best friends, for sure, on their way to an unforgettable sunny afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The kid running away from her granny is filled with joy and hasn\u2019t got a single worry in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s the man proudly walking a dog that adores him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three girls on bicycles cheerfully sing a song you vaguely know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two best mates are having an intimate conversation, walking shoulder to shoulder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And there\u2019s the guy in the Porsche with his arm hanging out of the window, who is, well, a guy in a Porsche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every single person seems to be thrilled and full of energy, on their way to something important or fun, making the best of their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everybody’s going somewhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Except you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You feel like you\u2019re wasting your life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like you\u2019re throwing away handfuls of time you\u2019ll never get back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s the world, gloriously engaged in important and valuable things, and there\u2019s you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And you feel miserable and guilty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At least for a while.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because somewhere along the line you forget to feed the misery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You get distracted, you wake up, you get up, and you\u2019re back again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe your life is not the stuff that books and movies are made of.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe it\u2019s nothing spectacular and maybe it won\u2019t inspire a nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the tiniest bit of love and excitement and curiosity is all it takes to get going again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A rich life is always lived from within.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shitty moods and dark ideas about the future will wash away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And you\u2019ll definitely forget that (because we always do), but you\u2019ll also remember.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even if it\u2019s just by a stupid little blog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n
