There\u2019s no You and the Universe.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You don\u2019t have to behave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You don\u2019t have to listen to the Universe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or tell it what to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You don\u2019t have to find its magic formula and work it endlessly, in order to open the secret doors to happiness and success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Universe is not watching you, trying to see if you\u2019re doing the right thing, keeping the score, or punishing you for a lack of ambition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s not nudging you, and not even guiding you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sorry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s so simple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Universe that is looking at you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For that to be possible, you\u2019d have to be OUTSIDE of the Universe, right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How would that even work?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Universe would have to be an entity that is monitoring you (another entity) from a distance, constantly keeping track, judging you, helping you out, leaving hints and tracks, and seeing if you get what it\u2019s trying to tell you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where would that leave you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a sub-Universe, an in-between Universe, maybe some sort of vacuum?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simpler, simpler, simplest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You ARE the Universe!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You are its creation, its being in everything that’s supposedly you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It made you (and me) to explore and enjoy itself (I\u2019m not sure if that’s true but it sounds pretty cool).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It made everything about you and the world you seem to live in, and it also keeps it working and evolving all the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It does that for you, through you, AS you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why would the Universe create you and then let you go, only to watch from a distance to see if you fuck up or do what you \u2018need\u2019 to do?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sorry, again, sorry, sorry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I know it\u2019s a really romantic notion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The idea of influencing and managing the Universe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Getting it to listen to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Working really hard so the rewards will eventually come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visualize what you long for so the Universe will respond, like a giant divine Santa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being fully aligned with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But how could you NOT be aligned with the Universe?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It didn\u2019t conceive you and left you on your own to find your way back in the dark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s not mad at you, punishing you, keeping things away from you, or testing you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You don\u2019t have the responsibility to please it, to find out what it wants, to call for it, to beg, to plead, to make things happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are not two things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You’re not something apart from it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Universe is making you happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s already doing you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And, to make this dream completely real and awesome, it\u2019s ALSO doing the idea, the belief, the conviction, that you have to tell it what you want and then work for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Universe created all that, all the perception of lack AND wealth, the idea of despair and desire and depression and delight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even the idea of You and the Universe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s just an idea, though.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re like a puppet believing that it can control the puppeteer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But, really:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019ll never ever, EVER have to find out how to make the Universe like you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It IS you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You are it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n
