{"id":46973,"date":"2022-06-05T09:14:06","date_gmt":"2022-06-05T09:14:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/?p=46973"},"modified":"2022-06-05T09:14:12","modified_gmt":"2022-06-05T09:14:12","slug":"a-gentle-reminder","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/2022\/06\/05\/a-gentle-reminder\/","title":{"rendered":"A gentle reminder."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>What is the most overlooked thing in our existence?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The thing that is as obvious as obvious can be, but remains obscured most of the time?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s aliveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s that which generates whatever lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The power of life itself, and the realization of that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And we simply don\u2019t notice it, because it\u2019s prior to everything else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re just too damn lost in whatever happens to feel the bigger feeling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Too lost in the constantly changing human show, the thoughts, the feelings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The mess.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The overwhelm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The doubts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The small things that seem huge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re SO confused that we don\u2019t recognize and acknowledge That which makes all of this possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve learned to be exclusively interested in the stuff, the story, the things that change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But how do we even know THAT we\u2019re afraid, worried, or happy?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How can we feel, think, move, touch, exist, have adventures, and seem lost?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How can we tell we\u2019re alive?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because we are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And while we obviously know it, we totally take it for granted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We know it, but we hardly ever realize it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aliveness is the miracle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Without it, nothing would exist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s the ON-switch for whatever happens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The juice that keeps the story flowing in all directions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The energy, the intelligence, the driving force, the light that makes everything shine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just a gentle reminder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Photo by @munybrr, for Unsplash)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is the most overlooked thing in our existence?
