{"id":46962,"date":"2022-06-03T19:41:58","date_gmt":"2022-06-03T19:41:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/?p=46962"},"modified":"2022-06-03T19:42:10","modified_gmt":"2022-06-03T19:42:10","slug":"delicious-abstractions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/2022\/06\/03\/delicious-abstractions\/","title":{"rendered":"Delicious abstractions."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>I don\u2019t know.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">I don&#8217;t know why I&#8217;m even trying to document the changes I&#8217;ve been going through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s all inner knowing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A sense of.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The beauty of being lost in meaning and purpose and goals and anxiety, while we\u2019re gently held by life, smiling at us, cheering us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What are we doing?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What are we looking for, when we\u2019re right in the fucking MIDDLE of it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Life will never be more than this, because this is already everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And what about the search, the suffering, the spiritual traditions, the trauma healing, the rituals?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All part of the aliveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No intrinsic meaning, not going anywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just colorful, beautiful, compelling storylines, delicious abstractions that come to life within us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are all over the place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Living the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Living the people in that world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Feeling like tiny vulnerable creatures ready to be crushed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This gorgeous, rich buffet of human experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Subtle, overwhelming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Relief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Depression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I can\u2019t describe what I see, but I know that I\u2019m being lived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It takes away every bit of meaning and importance, gently offering it back at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Safe beyond the intellect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The evening sun on a roof.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two men laughing in the street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A dog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And a radio station oozing from a car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s all there, it\u2019s already there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SO important and big.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SO ridiculously beautiful and normal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More looking, more searching, more trying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And no more trying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s all there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All is there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Photo by @olesia_bahrii, for Unsplash)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I don\u2019t know.
