{"id":46809,"date":"2022-05-20T12:02:12","date_gmt":"2022-05-20T12:02:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/?p=46809"},"modified":"2022-05-20T12:02:14","modified_gmt":"2022-05-20T12:02:14","slug":"the-journey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/2022\/05\/20\/the-journey\/","title":{"rendered":"The Journey."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Are you on track?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Are you living the life you\u2019re supposed to live?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Or the one you deserve?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Are you following the gentle voice inside?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Is your bliss guiding you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have experienced those questions many times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They came up a lot in my life, especially in recent years, and I\u2019ve contemplated them, investigated them, and followed up on them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sometimes they make total sense and feel totally inspiring (and many blogs are effortlessly created).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And sometimes they seem nothing but bullshit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I love the notion of The Hero\u2019s Journey, where you leave the village to face a challenge, overcome many hardships, and return with loads of victory and wisdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For storytelling creatures that stuff is amazing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just like karma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Synchronicity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Soulmates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Serendipity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The everyday fairytales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We can see them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We can believe it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We can even depend on it and build our lives around it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many of us do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So what if there are no REAL tracks, to begin with?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What if there\u2019s no \u2018life you\u2019re supposed to live\u2019?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Well, do whatever feels good anyway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Take life and run with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Photo by @jxb511, for Unsplash)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Are you on track?
