Fantasy allows us to see and feel stuff that is not currently here.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can daydream, project, and imagine non-existing situations until they\u2019re (almost) real and present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tropical island?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Check.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Little b&b on a picturesque Portuguese mountaintop, goat included?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sitting in a Ferrari, slowly driving the Saint-Tropez boulevard?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There we go!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can create moments, people, feelings, and sensations without leaving our couch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can escape winter, marriage, and even addiction, and be somewhere and someone else for a little while.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And we can call that inspiration, or disappointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s one of those things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We don\u2019t really think it\u2019s a big deal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But it is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s gigantic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In fact: it\u2019s the ONLY deal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not just as a rich and deeply engaging ability, but mostly because of the implications it has for when we\u2019re not daydreaming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or don’t know we are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our talent, our unique capability, to create almost any circumstance vividly and completely, is actually what we consider to be life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We never NOT do it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is how the world is created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every second of our life is produced by the same amazing experience factory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our feelings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holidays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Failure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Worry and fear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Relief and excitement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Craving and fulfillment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of those things may not look like daydreams or products of our imagination, but they are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are aspects of life, they ARE life, and they consist within our story, our experience, our existence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They come alive within us, just like our dreams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is not just a big thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is EVERY thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Experience, no matter what it\u2019s about and how it feels, is this magical system at play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Engaging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Realistic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And always churning out new stuff in a seemingly uninterrupted way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Life IS a daydream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And sometimes there\u2019s a goat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n
