{"id":46765,"date":"2022-05-16T11:45:23","date_gmt":"2022-05-16T11:45:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/?p=46765"},"modified":"2022-05-16T11:45:26","modified_gmt":"2022-05-16T11:45:26","slug":"following-the-flow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/2022\/05\/16\/following-the-flow\/","title":{"rendered":"Following the flow."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>I don\u2019t write because I have anything to say.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Maybe I do, but that\u2019s not really the point.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I write because it makes me feel good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Writing connects me directly and deeply to the fresh flow of life that, according to me, underlies everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s a delicious, energetic thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I come alive when I do it, I feel cared for, inspired, open, at ease AND excited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just like when I coach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s the same feeling of fulfillment and elation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To me that means something.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I think that enthusiasm is purely invented to get us going, just for the sake of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In my quite vast experience as a (professional) creator, the state of flow is where we\u2019re at our most inventive, our most open, and our most trusting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I guess that means something too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To me, those things are obvious signposts, guiding principles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tangible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Encouraging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rewarding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Powerful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And not dependent on any outcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s just feeling good because you\u2019re feeling good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s why I love getting to know it better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s why I enjoy indulging in it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And that\u2019s why I write.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Photo by @orwhat, for Unsplash)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I don\u2019t write because I have anything to say.
