{"id":46689,"date":"2022-05-08T10:31:18","date_gmt":"2022-05-08T10:31:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/?p=46689"},"modified":"2022-05-08T10:32:36","modified_gmt":"2022-05-08T10:32:36","slug":"not-trying-to-insult-you","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/2022\/05\/08\/not-trying-to-insult-you\/","title":{"rendered":"I wasn&#8217;t trying to insult you."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Just a few minutes ago I talked about simplicity.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shared a little blog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maybe you read that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maybe you didn\u2019t like that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maybe you thought \u2018This ignorant asshole obviously doesn\u2019t know about me and my life!\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I get that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But I\u2019m not saying life can\u2019t be difficult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m not pretending to know everything (that would be funny).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And I\u2019m most definitely not saying you\u2019re doing anything wrong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s just that, somehow, you can live with a sense of simplicity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can become aware of its vast power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even while in a complex world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even with problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even with challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s not about denying things, it\u2019s about feeling the bigger picture, the actual magical, mysterious oneness of this moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019re still faced with all the human stuff, but at the same time, you feel beyond that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yeah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I know that can be very hard to understand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maybe it\u2019s even impossible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To understand I mean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But you can feel it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can know it, directly, deeply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s THAT simplicity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Photo by @vmxhu, for Unsplash)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just a few minutes ago I talked about simplicity.
