{"id":46419,"date":"2022-03-06T11:55:53","date_gmt":"2022-03-06T11:55:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/?p=46419"},"modified":"2022-03-06T11:57:52","modified_gmt":"2022-03-06T11:57:52","slug":"who-do-you-thank","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/2022\/03\/06\/who-do-you-thank\/","title":{"rendered":"Who do you thank?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>1% happiness.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That was all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And it was probably exaggerated too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1% happiness, probably less.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yeah, for sure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Less than that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How was I even able to live in that unforsaken place?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What kept me going?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And what changed?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Well, an obvious answer would be<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Everything changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But that was only because of the one thing that really changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My relationship with experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And from there<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The gentle recognition of the ever-present Me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The letting go of personal responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The liberation from character, history, habits, and other stuff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And more, more, more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A world full of options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Life didn\u2019t change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And because of that<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Life changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, SO much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From 1% happiness to, well, almost 100% contentment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With many happy moments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So much more alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So much less afraid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Day, after day, after day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Who do you thank for all of that?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Photo by @philhenryproductions, for Unsplash)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1% happiness.
