{"id":46397,"date":"2022-03-01T11:35:42","date_gmt":"2022-03-01T11:35:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/?p=46397"},"modified":"2022-03-01T11:35:44","modified_gmt":"2022-03-01T11:35:44","slug":"whats-next","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/2022\/03\/01\/whats-next\/","title":{"rendered":"What&#8217;s next?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Why do we look at other people to find out what to do next?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How did THEY find out?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Is there an end to relying on second-hand adventures and borrowed wisdom?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have no answers to these questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And even if I had, I\u2019d urge you to not take them too seriously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have a Doubt Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This means that I doubt everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Me in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Me doing stuff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Me not doing stuff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stuff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finding the shortcuts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And relishing in the longer, painful, exposing processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trying to find the way out and the way in and the way whatever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whatever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s raining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have books.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are a couple of courses waiting for me to jump in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The good old restlessness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The never-ending (well, not really never, of course) race to greatness, and more greatness, and greater greatness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have been here before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is new, this day is new as new can be, but I have been here before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are so crazy, so beautiful, so confused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Always looking for ways to feel safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Always wanting to know what to do next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even though we know perfectly well that next will be next no matter what.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I love this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I love this exploration that doesn\u2019t go anywhere and expands everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I love how we go from knowing it all to being crushed by profound ignorance and crushing uselessness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We can think everything and believe everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And relief is around the corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Always.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Photo @_nnaro_, for Unsplash)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Why do we look at other people to find out what to do next?
