{"id":46371,"date":"2022-02-26T11:57:15","date_gmt":"2022-02-26T11:57:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/?p=46371"},"modified":"2022-02-26T11:57:20","modified_gmt":"2022-02-26T11:57:20","slug":"really-living-the-dream","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/2022\/02\/26\/really-living-the-dream\/","title":{"rendered":"Really living the dream."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>It is hard.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is hard to understand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is really hard to understand that every choice we will ever make is built on stuff we didn\u2019t choose before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Choices are illusory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We don\u2019t control them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They are simply the result of many things that happened before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And before before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But it doesn\u2019t ultimately matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let&#8217;s not strangle life to death, philosophically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What matters is that it FEELS like you make decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What matters is having the experience that your actions and your passions make a difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That how you do it makes a difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And even if you don\u2019t control the outcome, or control anything at all, you can still play the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The game of choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The game of growth, and change, and expansion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The game of light and dark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The game of being a human in an endless universe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because what matters is that you find whatever bit of freedom you can, and use it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even if it\u2019s not really you who is doing it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Life is not a dream if you decide to live it, fully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Awake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So what do you choose?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Photo by @gndclouds, for Unsplash)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is hard.
