{"id":46296,"date":"2022-02-17T10:29:51","date_gmt":"2022-02-17T10:29:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/?p=46296"},"modified":"2022-02-17T10:33:43","modified_gmt":"2022-02-17T10:33:43","slug":"life-is-here-for-us","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/2022\/02\/17\/life-is-here-for-us\/","title":{"rendered":"Life is here for us."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>No matter how hard I try not to, I keep doing it anyway.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Looking for the rules of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Extracting patterns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Exploring causality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trying to find the things that lead to other things, always.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And sometimes I just stop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And I laugh about my attempts, with gratitude and respect and appreciation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Life is SO damn amazing that there is not even a good word to describe it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We can think and believe one thing for decades, then just drop it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We can think that we are in control, at least somehow, and then realize how ridiculous that idea really is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Everything is here for us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every opinion, every philosophy, every method, every grain of sand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Science is here, angels are here, holding on to something and surrendering are here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Life is here for us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is an endless playground, a borderless field of opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And we are SO free, that we can believe the exact opposite, and feel small and caged in and unworthy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Everything is here for us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moments of triumph and instances where we \u2018get it\u2019, or situations where being lost doesn\u2019t even come close to what we experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am writing this because it occurred to me to start a post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am writing this as life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You are reading this as life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Life is here, for me, for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And it doesn\u2019t matter if you try really hard or drop everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How are you gonna play today?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Photo by @taylorkopel, for Unsplash)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>No matter how hard I try not to, I keep doing it anyway.
