Coaching is really hard.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And it\u2019s very easy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You see what I did there?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A paradox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Very spiritual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Very deep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But also utterly useless if you try to get it intellectually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because life just doesn\u2019t work that way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Life is not a logical event or a puzzle for the mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So who gives a shit about depth if it sounds like a spiritual Hallmark card?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who cares about deep stuff when it doesn\u2019t offer you anything?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coaching is hard because it\u2019s about people, and people come with endless layers of opinions and preferences and habits and memories and wishes and judgments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coaching is easy if you know what to do, where to be, HOW to be, and what to say at the right moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those things come from experience and owning your personal human crap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You don\u2019t get them from books, or Instagram posts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018Just accept it\u2019 is bullshit advice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And somehow it\u2019s also true.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And deep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But how do you convey these contradictory things, where do you go when mere intellectual understanding is not nearly enough?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do you make it tangible, real, experiential, without just quoting other people\u2019s words, even if these words refer to something profound?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, that is really hard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And it\u2019s also not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
