Now you might say \u2018well it FEELS like I\u2019m doing it wrong!\u2019<\/p>\n
And I get that.<\/p>\n
I have that.<\/p>\n
But here\u2019s a little secret:<\/p>\n
The voice in your head that tells you you\u2019re doing it wrong, is the same voice that asked or forced you to do whatever is supposed to be wrong in the first place.<\/em><\/p>\n That which urges and rushes you to do something, anything, effortlessly blames you if it doesn\u2019t work out well.<\/p>\n The mind constantly burdens you with suggestions and fears and possible disasters and things that are wrong about you and the world, and whatever you do coming from that deeply confusing mental soup is then judged and criticized by the same thing.<\/p>\n The mind claims your successes, no problem there, but judges the fuck out of you if stuff goes wrong.<\/p>\n That\u2019s why it gets away with everything.<\/p>\n We’re just really, really ignorant.<\/p>\n Doing something wrong, doing LIFE wrong, is a purely subjective thing.<\/p>\n There\u2019s no way to measure it, universally.<\/p>\n It\u2019s an abusive trick.<\/p>\n A really good and convincing one, but still a trick.<\/p>\n A trick to keep you on your toes and always vigilant, so you don’t become complacent and content, so you don’t just rest and be with what is, peacefully, no matter what.<\/p>\n The mind tells you \u2018do this, do it NOW, and you will feel good!\u2019<\/p>\n But does it ever really let you?<\/p>\n Well?<\/p>\n Yeah, exactly.<\/p>\n So don\u2019t wait for the mind to acknowledge what you\u2019re doing.<\/p>\n Don\u2019t wait for the magic moment somewhere in time when and where you\u2019re finally happy and liberated.<\/p>\n Learn to become free FROM the mind, and stop giving it your power.<\/p>\n Gently start doubting the ever-changing, purely opportunistic ideas of a mind that is all over the place, while always pretending to be ultimately right.<\/p>\n It\u2019s not.<\/p>\n It doesn\u2019t know the future.<\/p>\n It doesn\u2019t get the past.<\/p>\n And it most definitely doesn\u2019t understand the present.<\/p>\n The mind is not bad, nor evil: it\u2019s just full of itself.<\/p>\n It\u2019s a brilliant phenomenon, an evolutionary wonder, it\u2019s amazing, it\u2019s extremely creative and clever and fast, but it\u2019s not you, it’s really not, so you can stop listening to it and you can stop letting it beat the crap out of you.<\/p>\n You can stop, really, you can stop right now, and the only objections to that will come from the mind itself, obviously.<\/p>\n But just use that as guidance.<\/p>\n Feeling bad simply tells you that you\u2019re lost in the mind (not in life), so take that as a sign, and wake up to that.<\/p>\n Waking up always happens today.<\/p>\n And that too can never go wrong.<\/p>\n It\u2019s impossible.<\/p>\n —<\/p>\n
