I am actually sitting in my bed so it\u2019s obviously the wrong place.<\/p>\n
According to my mind.<\/p>\n
It quickly informs my body that this is definitely not ideal, that there\u2019s a discrepancy between This Now and the perfect That Now, and my body obediently follows.<\/p>\n
One minute ago I was fine.<\/p>\n
Now I feel like shit.<\/p>\n
Why?<\/p>\n
Is it because I should be in a forest?<\/p>\n
Would the forest magically take away the shitty feeling?<\/p>\n
Is the shitty feeling caused by the lack of trees in my bedroom?<\/p>\n
No, no, and no.<\/p>\n
But my mind doesn\u2019t care.<\/p>\n
It wants to be in the forest, so it creates the discomfort to prove its wisdom.<\/p>\n
I know this game too well.<\/p>\n
The only (and truly HUGE) reason I would fall for it is that I don\u2019t want to feel uncomfortable.<\/p>\n
And listening to the mind and following its directions seems to be the solution.<\/p>\n
It’s not.<\/p>\n
Only the mind can be dissatisfied with where you are, and that is almost always the case.<\/p>\n
While Being never is.<\/p>\n
The Being that is always there, but hardly ever recognized.<\/p>\n
Being doesn\u2019t give a shit about forests or luxury hotels or cute little farms on the top of a hill in Tuscany.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s always content.<\/p>\n
That’s its nature.<\/p>\n
It just IS.<\/p>\n
So that\u2019s where I go, while I\u2019m sitting on my bed.<\/p>\n
Straight to the Being.<\/p>\n
Now I happen to really love forests, so maybe I\u2019ll go there, later on.<\/p>\n
And if I do, Being will be there too.<\/p>\n
And if I don\u2019t, well, you get the point.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Can it really be that simple?<\/p>\n
