From one moment to the other, my world can collapse.<\/p>\n
Or the other way around.<\/p>\n
A mood that flips and soars into the sky, exploding like fireworks of bliss.<\/p>\n
That is how we roll.<\/p>\n
This, then that.<\/p>\n
Pain, and pleasure.<\/p>\n
And pain again.<\/p>\n
But DO we know, do we REALLY know?<\/p>\n
It would be so bloody helpful and soothing if we truly understood that this is what\u2019s happening all the time.<\/p>\n
If we\u2019d be more aware of the absolute shifting nature and utter impersonality of these intimate events.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s nothing but a change of mind, an echo within.<\/p>\n
It doesn\u2019t really mean anything.<\/p>\n
This, then that.<\/p>\n
Here, and there.<\/p>\n
Almost like Instagram, scrolling from one picture to the other.<\/p>\n
One life to the next.<\/p>\n
And the next.<\/p>\n
So how come we don\u2019t see it, acknowledge it, and use it?<\/p>\n
Why do we get SO lost in what is not essentially true and most certainly not forever?<\/p>\n
Because most of us don\u2019t realize what we are realizing, or THAT we are even realizing.<\/p>\n
We don\u2019t see our thoughts as thoughts but become what they create in us.<\/p>\n
Victims of.<\/p>\n
A miserable idea.<\/p>\n
A crushing memory.<\/p>\n
A suffocating daydream.<\/p>\n
A cathedral of doubts.<\/p>\n
This, then that.<\/p>\n
So obvious, but so unnoticed.<\/p>\n
We don\u2019t remember that we\u2019ve had these moments before.<\/p>\n
Many, many, many.<\/p>\n
We don\u2019t remember, and even if we do, it doesn\u2019t really help us.<\/p>\n
There\u2019s no clarity of mind to just experience them instead of BEING them.<\/p>\n
We haven\u2019t learned to be aware of our moods and emotions and feelings, and stay conscious of the process, instead of letting it consume us completely.<\/p>\n
We become what we think, and forget we\u2019re essentially just observing.<\/p>\n
And the observing, or the Observer, is the only thing that lasts.<\/p>\n
First this, then that.<\/p>\n
But it\u2019s so hard to see that what you feel is not here to last, that it\u2019s a creation, a fabrication, a batch of energy with a specific taste.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s hard to know, REALLY know, from the tiniest bit of liberating distance, that the show will go on.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s hard to live as what always is, and always will be.<\/p>\n
Not this, not that.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
And always safe.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
