The idea came up yesterday, when I was doing a guided mediation and felt like I was exploding with anger and frustration.<\/p>\n
So that\u2019s what eventually happened: I exploded.<\/p>\n
It was nasty, like an infected wound bursting wide-open.<\/p>\n
There was red hot screaming, there was hitting the chair I was sitting in, and there were tears of whatever-the-fuck-had-been-building-up-inside (a BIG pile of the shittiest shit).<\/p>\n
And after that, after the release, it was kinda quiet, and I felt the need, the wish, the urge, to surrender.<\/p>\n
I was just really curious to find the edge of my consciousness.<\/p>\n
I wanted to drift to the outer limits of my being.<\/p>\n
And that\u2019s what I explored today.<\/p>\n
\u2018What remains when you let go of everything that happens within your experience?\u2019<\/p>\n
And I closed my eyes and started to let go.<\/p>\n
This thought.<\/p>\n
And this one.<\/p>\n
And this great idea.<\/p>\n
And this thought about the former thought.<\/p>\n
And this feeling of frustration and restlessness.<\/p>\n
And this really important mental note.<\/p>\n
And the sensation of an itching knee, and then an itchy nose.<\/p>\n
And the sound of a tram, and an ambulance.<\/p>\n
And the thought of turning this experience into a blog, and fifteen thoughts in that direction.<\/p>\n
And this thought and this objection and this piece of energy.<\/p>\n
And this and this and this and this and this.<\/p>\n
And I let go and let go and let go.<\/p>\n
And let go\u2026<\/p>\n
Until\u2026<\/p>\n
You know what\u2019s left when you let go of EVERYTHING?<\/p>\n
Everything.<\/p>\n
Yup.<\/p>\n
