{"id":31983,"date":"2021-05-30T08:38:59","date_gmt":"2021-05-30T08:38:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/?p=31983"},"modified":"2021-05-30T08:39:01","modified_gmt":"2021-05-30T08:39:01","slug":"today-is-endless","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/2021\/05\/30\/today-is-endless\/","title":{"rendered":"Today is endless."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>I am a little boy.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am a little boy playing on the beach, running towards the waves and back again, laughing, splashing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am totally, utterly happy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I AM happiness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not a single thing in the world is out of order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The castle I built is huge and skewed and awesome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sun feels hot (but not too hot).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The white sand is exactly the way white sand at the perfect white beach is supposed to be, and feel, and every tiny grain is at the exact right spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am eating a piece of chilled water melon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s juice everywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tiny, sticky hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I wear a white cap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sea is vast but friendly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Its waves engage with the shore, gently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In, out, in, out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s no time, and if there were, somehow, it wouldn\u2019t mean much anyway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because this is an endless day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On an endless beach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Feeling endlessly joyful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sky is very blue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And I am here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Happy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am a little boy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am everything at once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How could I forget?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Photo by @daiga_ellaby, for Unsplash)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am a little boy.
