{"id":31794,"date":"2021-05-22T10:18:14","date_gmt":"2021-05-22T10:18:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/?p=31794"},"modified":"2021-05-22T10:18:16","modified_gmt":"2021-05-22T10:18:16","slug":"going-from-head-to-heart","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marnix.nl\/homepage\/welkom\/2021\/05\/22\/going-from-head-to-heart\/","title":{"rendered":"Going from head to heart."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Have you noticed?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My posts are changing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I feel less inclined to explain shit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Less worried about being understood or 100% clear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s more and more about painting a personal picture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>About the energy, the sensation, not a detailed manual for the experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The change is a gradual and totally natural thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I guess it\u2019s the result of doing something for a long, long time, when you start to feel the desire to let go of obviousness, safety, stuff that everybody gets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Like going from photorealistic to abstract.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From head to heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not a big deal, somehow, but an important one just the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And it just feels really amazing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And simple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I guess it means that I\u2019ll be losing readers who are looking for instructions and explanations, who want to read \u2018how to\u2019s\u2019 and steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s fine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s an audience for everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And I&#8217;d rather have you feel it than understand it anyway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But even more important: writing intuitively IS the reward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I write myself happy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How cool is that?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Photo by @socialcut, for Unsplash)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Have you noticed?
