Spirituality<\/span> is a paradox-infested jungle.<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
\n
For every left there is a suitable right.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Every black has a matching white.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
And they are all true to a certain extent.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
They need each other.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
They complete each other.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
There\u2019s balance in the things that are oppositional.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
It\u2019s really very simple, very powerful.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
But the intellectual mind doesn\u2019t think so.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
It doesn\u2019t like being at peace with contradictions.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
It wants to pick a side and stick to it.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
It feels uncomfortable when it\u2019s about the sum, not the parts.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Hm.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Still: everything is not lost.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
The mind CAN succumb to the heart or the soul.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
It can learn to be okay with the things it can\u2019t grasp.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
It can even assist in getting close to the end of its painful, suffocating dominance.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
The mind can help to overcome the mind, or at least come close enough to facilitate transcendence.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Isn\u2019t that amazing?<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
The thing that ultimately makes us suffer, can be used to become free from it.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Not by conquering the psyche or beating it into submission, but by weakening our relationship with it just enough to see through it and connect to the endless space around it.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
It can bring us to the edge of insanity, so we can fall into what\u2019s real.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
A direct experience of who we ultimately are.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Totally blows my mind.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
