Whenever we start imagining new ways, new careers, or even new lives, we are stopped by imaginary roadblocks.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

We hit the brakes before we even give it a try.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
It is all just too scary, too big, too unpredictable, too unsafe.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
It feels SO bad, that we simply stop considering the pursuit.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
But what is really holding us back is never what we think is holding us back.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
It\u2019s the ideas.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
It\u2019s JUST the ideas.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
It\u2019s the pain of our vivid fantasy that paralyzes us.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
The colorful stories about the discomfort and confusion and loneliness and all the hard work it takes.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
We are held back by thoughts.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
That\u2019s all.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
And that is a very hopeful notion.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Because the only reason why thoughts can make us do or not do things, is because we believe them.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
We grant them the power to fuck with us.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
That\u2019s all.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Thoughts are not creepy entities, lurking in the dark, with fangs and claws and poisonous tails.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Thoughts are mental suggestions.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Random fabrications.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Things to either consider, or simply dismiss.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Ghosts.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
That\u2019s all.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
