I like to feel good about myself.<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

I like to think that I am fair, and honest, and morally sound.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I try hard to be kind and caring and open-minded.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

And I like to share and to give as well.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Those are all good traits, if you believe them to be good.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

But they are also extremely personal.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

They\u2019re mine, very much so, and even if you feel like you do all of those things too; the way you do and feel about them might be totally different.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Because the thing is: when it comes to good and bad, there is no standard.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

There are definitions, but no universal rules that apply to everybody and can serve as a way to measure what we do.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

There are things many people (in specific parts of the planet) agree on, but those things have always changed and will continue to change.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

So?<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

So you have to be your own standard.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
That\u2019s it.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
You have to be your own standard and commit yourself to that.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

You will have to set the bar, and the parameters.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Yours.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

You will need to decide what it means to live a good life, a just life, a loving life.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Or none of the above, if you don\u2019t like them and you think that\u2019s all bullshit and you are only here for the win and fuck all the losers.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Still, the question remains:<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

What kind of person do you want to be?<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

You decide.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

That is the only thing you can do.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

And it\u2019s the most powerful thing in the world.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
