For years I was totally convinced that being a (spiritual) coach was about liking every person in the world.<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

I also believed that I should be able to help every single individual with every problem imaginable, all the time.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Well, I can’t.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Because as a coach, I am also a human being.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
And as a human being, I have weird preferences and smelly opinions and tastes and deep beliefs and all that.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Just like you.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
And although I am pretty good at not being fucked too much by my judgments, there is also something like ’the click’.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Sometimes there simply is no real and promising connection between me and the person I talk to.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
No big deal.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
I see this as helpful and revealing and practical, not as something bad or disappointing.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Sometimes it just doesn’t work.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
So if we get to know each other a bit by having an initial conversation, and you don’t feel enthusiastic and hopeful about it, that could be a very good reason to look for another coach, one that better suits your personality or dreams or the phase in life where you’re at.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
We have to trust each other and we have to feel inspired by our meetings, and if that’s not the case and our intuition isn’t nodding in appreciation, it could be a waste of time and money.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

But although it’s personal, it never really is.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I can respect you just the same.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
