People are always right.<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

When I started to post on Facebook a year or two ago after having been away from the platform for many years, it didn\u2019t take long before I used a recognizable form where every sentence starts on a new rule.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Like this.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Sentences exist and stand on their own, they have their own space, just like thoughts enter our awareness.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
One after the other.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Tax form.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Elephant.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
I\u2019m hungry.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
So\u2026 I didn\u2019t devise it that way, it was not a conscious decision to use this particular format, but it just felt good and that was it.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Some people asked me why I didn\u2019t write in paragraphs, in blocks of text, like almost everybody does.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
They advised against it.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
They told me it would be annoying to readers, or even confusing.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
It was new, it was kinda weird, and they didn\u2019t like it.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
And they were right.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Just like the people who warned me about being \u2018too\u2019 honest and open.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Just like the men and women who messaged me after I wrote about my near bankruptcy, who told me that being this frank probably would mean the end of my career as a coach.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
And just like the people who told me I\u2019d better stick to advertising because I was good at that and successful and it was the safe option, instead of going for a completely new career as a coach.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
They were also right, all of them.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
They were right in their world and according to their rules and ideas.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
They were right if it had been about them.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
But it wasn\u2019t.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
This was me doing me-stuff, and it sometimes scares people.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
That’s just really good to know.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
