You don\u2019t HAVE to feel good.<\/p>\n
Nor do you need to.<\/p>\n
Life has space for that.<\/p>\n
Space for not knowing, for doubts, for fear, for thinking that every day for the rest of your life will be as dark and bad as this one.<\/p>\n
Life is okay with that, it\u2019s okay with you.<\/p>\n
Now of course it feels good to feel good.<\/p>\n
So it\u2019s totally understandable that we prefer that.<\/p>\n
It makes sense that you want more of that, especially when you\u2019ve had so little.<\/p>\n
But you don\u2019t HAVE to feel good.<\/p>\n
And you don\u2019t need to.<\/p>\n
Not right now, not always.<\/p>\n
The tears and frustration and bitterness have a place in your life (well, they\u2019re there, so they must have, right?), so why don\u2019t you let them occupy it without wanting to chase it all away?<\/p>\n
Right?<\/p>\n
You don\u2019t HAVE to feel good.<\/p>\n
Feel whatever you feel.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s good, for now.<\/p>\n
